Roxy...Manchester Apollo..1981
I can still remember this night like it were yesterday!
It was the first time I'd seen Roxy live and with only being 14 at the time you can imagine the excitement i was feeling.
Billy Connolly ( the comedian ) was stood next to us, stinking of booze....Haha..but was having a great time!
This is just one of a few pictures that was taken that night!

Nice one. My missus certainly never married me for my money as I never had any.Must have been for something else...I remember the night we met. I was walking home from work.The handle of my toolbag had broken so I had to put my big hammer in my trouser pocket....
I think your poem is really good, I loved it. It shows what a great sense of humour you have. There are some lovely lines in there, heart tugging stuff in fact. Wish mine sounded more like that as the more I have wrote (wait till you read the next one) sound like Bryan in pain.
But I have always loved his bleak songs. Hope that doesn't give you the wrong idea of me I am a happy chappy really!

I love browsing the pictures and hearing the sounds. I haven't had time to download anything yet, but this site makes me feel so relaxed and is such a sanctuary when I am working for hours on my school/college prep work. As an art tutor I am supposed to be able to do do arty stuff and I need to dedicate something to sweet Bryan I think!? As I said to Maureen..the thing about all of us... is that we all have such great taste !!! Particularly in men!
