Just out of interest, we have been listing our favourite artists etc: why not just pop in what your listening to anytime, give us all a clue what we listen to including Roxy/Ferry and all our other eclectic tastes etc:
Me I'm just getting into the new Coldplay album today.
stranded I would love at beginning or end or both ends burning,. Out of the blue the strenght of that voilin at the end in reunion Tour when Lucy Wilkins played it I do hope they have her on the next Roxy tour .I think she brilliant
Terry
there are a lot of songs i would love Roxy or Bryan to do along with the new songs , ones with
that go feeling like the earlier songs what ever Bryan brings out and they are new will last like virginia Plain or Stranded .that he
decides to do that it rocks and gets us fans going for years to go
Terry. How many more great songs are you going to remind us of. i remember listening every Sunday night to the new chart show on Radio 1 on my radio and taping onto cassette as well using the mic up against the radio speaker. Blckfoot Sue......ah! happy days.
NP New The Hold Steady Album-Stay Positive. Great stuff as always from these boys.
Hi Melvyn, variety is the spice of life, over the last half hour I've been visited by Peter Gabriel's Moribund the Burgermeister, been Welcome(ed) To My Nightmare by Alice Cooper, Mott gave me some Honaloochie Boogie, came Tumbling Down with Cockney Rebel and now currently grooving to Come See About Me, Diana & The Supremes. I think I should now "Do The Strand" and have me dinner!!
Hi Terry. Pretty much coming to end for the summer. Saw the All New Amen Corner on Sunday night on the Summer of Love Tour. A fun night.
Have a good summer.
NP Welcome to the Cruise. Judie Tzuke. Classic.
Ah yes, happy days indeed Melvyn - I remember doing exactly the same - woe betide any member of family interupting my taping. It felt like eternity after that radio programe, waiting until Thursday for TOTPS.
John Cale, Oxford Academy, 26th June '08...I wish BF would take a leaf out of this guy's book. He continues to be controversial, commercial, avant garde and has never conformed. He has a great band and still sounds brilliant. not bad for a guy of 66.
I agree Angela!! I like Bryan just the way he is!! And let's hope he will surprise us with the new album!!!!!! By the way, good choice 'Tamla Motown volume collections'!! Must dig out my Tamla albums and listen to them!!! Haven't listened to a bit of Tamla in ages!!!
