I have a separates system but I never listen to the turntable, cassette deck or tuner they are obsolete now. My cd player is an Arcam CD72 24 bit Dac and the amp is an Arcam Alpha 8....best of British!

Oooh that sounds very technical I Couldn't tell you about ours- I just know the makes - Mind you, |I am a Blonde hahha!

Mainly my ipod these days, as I keep getting groans from the rest of them here when I play anything of Roxy/BF. But I do like to play the Cd's /DVD's on the Sony home entertainment system thingy, with the surround speakers on - Bliss!!!

A blonde eh? Well I'm surprised you even know how to operate the stereo!!

Mmm, the stereo - was that that device where you manually dropped an arm piece thingy that had a needle on it, onto your record? I never quite understood why it used to make all those screechy noises & left great big scratches all over my albums!!!!

No Angela, thats a record player.Needles are what you girls sew with,I think you mean stylus! Those screechy noises were caused by scratches, caused by leaving the record out of its protective sleeve and lying about next to your make up box and nail files on the bed!
BLESS!!

Oh a stylus is that right - thought they were pins/needles & my screechy noises were caused by me dropping the arm piece directly onto the record , that's how I got my big scratches I think!!!!!

Oh a stereo, you mean those big stacked boxes you had to launch, to get music on. I had to ask a neighbour to come & help me with that contraption every time .
Bless!

All iTuned up, have nice speaker system on computer, big bass! Beauty Queen always sounds great.
Apple ghetto blaster thingy in lounge and another one in the kitchen, then an iTravel adaptor for the car.
Just for those of you who think size matters I have 12249 tracks on the ipod that would take me 69.6 days to listen to (if I could stay awake that long).

NP: Beauty Queen, aah, the best? Maybe.

Why does that not surprise me? No wonder you started a discussion asking Now Playing? Sounds like it is always playing!

I usually use the laptop - when I got the laptop, I bought these great speakers to attach to it and it sounds just as my stereo (which wasn't used for months until I got a record deck from my sister's partner a few weeks back).............I ripped a lot of my CD's onto my laptop and that's what I usually use.

My Ipod is my constant companion when I'm outdoors.........

A Dansette!!!! My mum still has her one she had when she was a teenager - a pink and white one...........it was relegated to the loft many years ago (I used it for a short time when I was young until I was bought my first record player of my own), but it still works. She won't part with it!! She got it for her 16th birthday, and she's 60 now!!

Hi Stephen,

I listen to some songs during the times I'm on these forums with headphone.
It's a good background, don't you think?

I don't want to bother or annoy anyone with my addiction, so I listen on my ipod.
No one in my surrounding area is a Roxy/Bryan fan.
I think that's the best solution for everyone!
