What I meant was that Robert was similar to Bryan with the way he dressed, the models, etc.................no-one could be as cool as Bryan in my eyes..............

I don't know if Bryan thinks he's still got it, we know he does, but he he said in an interview that he doesn't like the way he looks anymore - which to me is so not true - he is sex-on-legs!!!!!!!!!!!! If I was to bring out a dictionary, Bryan's picture would be next to 'coolness', 'gorgeous', 'sexy', 'talented', etc!!!!!!! Always be #1!!!!!!

Maybe we could convince him that he still is gorgeous!!!!!

Oh see what you mean about RP. I think Bryan probably doesn't like himself now as when he looks back at himself he's finally realised he was (in his words - OK) gorgeous, as never thought much of himself back then. Yeah his name is always synonymous with cool.

Having been an aspirant BF lover for many years now I look at him in the 70's and now and I think he has improved - but is that because of ageing? I know I loved him in 1972 and when I look at him then and now I like him better now - hey he and I have grown old together -ok on different planes or probably different planets what do you girls think - boys you seem to have ducked out of this one

Many/All of us here have grown up with Roxy/Ferry as the soundtrack of our live's. Many times as a young man did I feel many of Bryan's lyrics echoed the lost love's of my life.

Hopelessly grounded

Remembering how we spent time

I think he just looks so good now as well!! Still very fanciable and gorgeous!!! But I will always have a very soft spot for the way he looked around the time of Bete Noire/New Town as well - he was just so damn sexy then!!!!!!!! I think that's because that's when I first got into him properly.....................I see pics of other stars like Rod Stewart, Mick Jagger and all that lot and think "oh, my god - what the hell happened to you", but Bryan just keeps on looking fab! The only other rock star I can think of that has also aged well is Bowie...................

As for female singers, I think Madonna is looking fantastic for a woman who's 50 in August!!!!!!

Haha lettsy you've started them all off again!..yeah i was left out too!waah sobing into my pillow now.i wanna be in with the in crowd.yes Maureen i agree with you,the stars around bryans age are abit ropey.apart from bowie who seems to be getting younger!haha.

He has aged the best out of all them au natural - some of those others have some help!! Although Bryan has was blessed with good looks I think he has aged beautifully with each era. Although like Maureen I loved his Bete noire days the best, I was thinking how good he looked at 50 round about the time of Manouma with the longer hair. He has always looked 10 years younger I usually go for the toy boys myself but make an exception with Bryan!! Hahaha!!

Madona sure is an inspiration for me - The days I don't feel like the gymn and letting it all go I think of her - although she is rather excessive with it all & she HAS had lot of subtle help!

Im pleased that madonna has finally reached that 50 mark though!it seemed her&jerry hall were lingering round that 48 mark for about 3years!just read an article in hello about chaka khan and my god is she hot for 54!go girl.

Just watched Madonna on BBC3 performing live - all I can say is WOW!!!!! Where does she get all that energy from?!!!! Absolutely brilliant!!!!! She looked great as well......apart from her arms, they still look a bit muscley which I don't think looks nice on her..........

I'm gonna have to start doing yoga and going to the gym!!!!!!!!!

Maureen you have said it all and it would have to be his gorgeous features next to all these words you have mentioned i did read that i felt sad when he came out with that he is definately sex on legs and both at it and that smile and them eyes have it hes the only one i know that has definately aged well what shall we put it down to because we dont see skanky knees we keep him young when we go to his concerts and the alchol He def needs us to join him and keep him permenntly happy hahaha maureen as long as we dont mention skanky legs and that bald patch on the left side of head hE WILL COPE WITH US NO PROBS HAHHAHA

No point predicting anything where Roxy/Ferry albums are concerned.
It's either a feast or a famine when it comes to new material!

I think it's better when they're released slowly; that way you get a chance to absorb each album in turn.
