Hi Siobhan,

Yeah it does bring a tear to your eye, I remember being at the ATGB show in Manchester and i had tears running down my face when he sang "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes" I was incredibly overwhelmed by it he sang it so beautifully!

Yeah I agree about the opening lines, but the last ones get me...."Where she goes I've got to be The Meaning of my life is She" just gorgeous....so simple but says so much!
I'd love to see him sing this at a live show, he'd definitely make it his own, and have me in floods of tears no doubt...Haha

Funny when i think of this song now I think of Costello's version from Notting Hill which is just Brilliant in terms of the vocal. I agree that a solo version by Bryan would be great although I think it would be different to this as he would undoubtedly put his own signature on the song somehow. His opening bars definitely bring a spine tingling sensation as they are very good and atmospheric. Great to hear something new ain't it?
