Went to see The Hold Steady at Wembley recently. They were actually the support for Counting Crows. The Hold Steady were (are) fantastic-Counting Crows-frankly boring.

Yes you are right !!! This time 13 months ago we were being considered for special measures so the Head and staff have done brilliantly!!! The trouble is now as the SIP said we have to be aware of 'poaching'!!! The Head at the moment is caretaking a school till Christmas!! We're all a bit nervous about 'moves' at the moment!! As you can imagine!! Got a Curriculum and Personel commitee this afternoon to look forward too!!! Don't worry, the other Govs. know where the hard work comes from, but he does tend to wallow in the glory a bit!!! By the way meant to say have you joined ukgovs site??? if not I'll email you the address, it's well worth a look. Plenty of great ideas!!!
Don't miss Janet (what a lovely name!!!!) too much, the week will fly by!!!

Yes I'm gutted, we played really well first half and I thought we'd won it then!!...Never mind there will be more disappointments and celebrations to come I'm sure of that!!
Aww missing your better half then? you should take a little Teddy Bear with you, and snuggle up to it....Haha, it must be difficult when you work away, You'll be back home soon enough, Smile and the world smiles with you!

How are you?? Forgot to tell you, had a FGB meeting on Thursday. Before it had to to do Performance management with SIP. What an eyeopener!!! We were gobsmacked to say the least!! we have been made a Lead Practice School, one of only 6 in Trafford!! We are being used by Manchester university as an example school, and our Head is going to lecture there to the students, and he called us 'Exemplary'!!! The CofG and I were so shocked we were speechless!! He was gushing!! I went in to the FGB and made the CofG really work!! I have told him we've got to pull our finger out now!! Thought you might like to know!! It's certainly got the Cof G panicking now!! So maybe things will start to improve now!!!

Yeah, City were very disappointing, but just knew what the game was going to be like when i saw who was refereeing ( steve Bennett ) some very poor decisions by him, I'm surprised he didn't do his famous Party trick of sending someone off!
But having said that City were nowhere near good enough!
At least one City won then....well done!

- Oh that's fantastic!!! Well done!!! We got a good with outstanding in 2 areas, which isn't bad considering 6 months before they were considering us for Special Measures!!! But outstanding they don't give out easily so well done!! You can relax now!!!
Have you heard from helen?? I'm frightened of going on her page!!! Did you also read in the paper today about United supporters?? Suppose it is true!!!

Yeah 1969 i was only 3 but have heard all the old stories from family members about the old games, and how they were all paid 10 bob a week etc...Haha
