Yes you are right ,it is not an inexpensive night ,but we do not do the long haul summer hols ,costa packet stuff so an indulgence at the Witchery is excusable me-thinks ! I love scotland (not just saying that because you are a scot)
I did read a bit about Deacon Brodie as I like history, interesting bloke was'nt he ....anyway according to superstition/astrology ect , you're hair raising start to 2010 is actually a good omen !...burning desires within your reach, sizzling encounters -especially with fire signs ( watch those Leo's !)...so well worth a slight alteration to the barnet! so comm'on baby light my fire should be your 2010 motto! enjoy!

Happy New Year !
Thought of you yesterday, Steve took me back to the 'Witchery', sun/Mon ,daughters left 'home alone'..but they are 'old' now !..anyway amongst the freezing snow, whilst cupping a warming rum in the Deacon Brodie pub ,my eye read the insciption on the bar : A pledge to all Scots-'Love and life hold no fear -for I was born of Scottish blood'....may you live by the celtic pledge !....touch and go to make it back to Wakey today, but we managed, and people always moan about the railways ,but I thought they were all stars from train drivers to station staff....would not be in this blessed City ( Wakefield has a cathederal, so officially is a city !, )without them .

Yes, many a sleepless night lately with what's been going on. At this rate Siobhan & I won't be ships that pass in the night any more, but something tells me she'll probably be getting a few early nights these days. Think Helen & I could be shopping for a hat next year!

That's the funniest thing I've read in ages, very clever, with a clever twist at the end, brilliant!!!!!......my kind of Shakespeare sure enough!!!.... But, I just wonder what it would sound like with a bit of music added? you should team up with our very own Mozza, he'd be over the moon with those words, or Maybe a bit Miffed You've out smarted him?
Having said that, I reckon you could both produce a great 12" between you!!!!!!! haha
I started to write a poem for you too, but as you can see, looking at my last sentence, I had to call time on it, as mine got steadily worse for wear, then got completely out of hand!!! haha... had me laughing all the same.
I've been playing around with something that has brought me great amusement (Now admittedly that does sound ruder than it should!!! haha) which I will pass on to you when I get a bit of time, Hopefully tomorrow... I can't stop laughing at it, and think you will too! its dead daft!!!!
And thanks for my Poem Sweetness, I love it, a saucy piece of Humour for my page is always welcome!!!!!!! ;)

Just got home from a day's travelling . a workshop preparing for accreditation in Peterborough , the holiday Inn....2yrs at Uni not enough ,they want more work from us to prove our competency as practitioners , my life !...Strange being a'train traveller' .Usually safely home in the evenings kicking the dogs/ teenager/hubby or pondering what 'healthy tea' to produce. So being part of the drifting mass of humanity attempting to get from A to B was quiete strange ! Just read the post regarding Mark Smith dying -49yrs , jeez..live life to the max Jim....Go on have that wee dram! cheers!

On a morn or perhaps early eve I click the in box-testing my psychic powers by predicting if it will turn black or not ( usually right as I am a bit of a psycho ,whoops !-psychic) I then predict wether the black signifies a dull reminder to update insurance or something ,or wether it is a rare gem sent to brighten and lift the spirits.
so today, imagine my delight when I realised I am to be your small, furry rodent!...an honour ,by the way. Well ,the rodent would like to report that this is a beautiful , moving and wise piece...hope and loss almost making friends- I think it is a joy ....why don't you publish some of your stuff ?...it's evocative ,can almost taste the wine.
Strange that we want what we are not ,you start by saying you can't
paint, yet those who can handle a pencil/brush always want to be able to write or sing. ! B.F discarded paint for the thrill of instant audience response....I would adore it if i could sing ,but in the words of Orville,"I can't" in fact my singing is remarkably like Orville.
So Jim..thank you ,it's wonderful and will stay on my page to be read whenever I wish. To take you back to your catholic education ,here is a bit of left -footer- Latin for you ...
