Roxy...Manchester Apollo..1981
I can still remember this night like it was yesterday!
It was the first time I'd seen Roxy live and with only being 14 at the time you can imagine the excitement i was feeling.
Billy Connolly was stood next to us, stinking of booze....Haha..but was having a great time!

If not I will find it and forward it to you-- mind you it was when he was a United player! If it wasn't you it will have been from Leeds fan who hates United even more ha ha.
As for the hair, unbelievably it is growing in a great rate of knots and seems to be as dark as ever it was. i was fearing I would have the Malllin streak at the top of my head! Mind you better that then being a wee chubby bald man with a burnt head!

I agree ,one of my favourite live tracks is the Viva version of 'If there is something' -(love the sax/drum & vocal near the end...) Also the other track that still sends shivers down my spine is 'My Only Love' -from the Frejus gig.,esp Neil Hubbards guitaring...
PS: If your a Man City fan,watch out for a shock result against the Tigers(no half time team talks on the pitch this time!) 2-2 prediction-I'll be there. Cheers Martyn

What you said about the Roxy album is true - the album IS finished and ready to release - 100%. It's been ready for some time now, but as always, Mr F is the hold up. That's why I'm so "P" off with him.
The album aparently has some fantastic tracks on it and has the thumbs up from several band members sons. It's right there with todays music!
I'm away with the Ferries for a month! so don't worry if you don't hear from me, or reply to any comments.

Yep, that's me in the pic. I was doing exactly the same thing a few weeks ago. I've taken on a massive project collating all the old pics to form a "This is your life" to all of my family. It should be good when complete.
