Hi

I have the AVO session of Wooly Bully?

If that is any good to you leave me an email address and I will gladly send it onto you.

Hi, Helen --

That's very nice of you. If you'd like to send it, I'll see if I can figure out how to burn it to a disk.

Hi Mark,

Ah, It's no bother... more than happy to help out. It should be straight forward to burn to disc. I was going to suggest posting it out to you but looking at where you're from, it would be quicker to wait for rigamortis to set in haha

Got your e-mail and I will sort it a little later :)

Thank you. I'm not the most technologically adept person on the planet. If I can't get it burned, I might attempt to entice you to burn and post it (got lots and lots of BF tracks to trade) . . . .

Hi Mark,

OK. I will send it through e-mail first and take you through the steps I use to burn onto disc and see if you master it that way. :)

Helen! You are an ABSOLUTE ANGEL!!!! If there's ANYTHING that you don't have by BF, let me know. Chances are, I've got it. And I'll make sure you do, too.

Aww, that's excellent!

Thank you Mark, that is so kind of you. Just happy to be of some help. Presuming you got my e-mail that is. haha

Yes, I got it. And it burned beautifully. Sounds great, too. It was the ONE BF song of which I'm aware that I had no recording of. So, like I said, let me know if there's something you're looking for. The people on this forum have been great about giving me access to awesome material, and I've got quite a stash!

Well, damn! Looking around the website I see that BF has covered the Beatles' "Ticket to Ride". I didn't know about that one. It must be a new addition to the list. At any rate, THAT is now the one BF song (of which I'm aware) that I don't have a recording of. Got the original and the cover by the Carpenters, but. . . .

Helen? Anyone?

I recall Bryan doing a splended version of "Wooly Bully" at 'the Leas Halls' Folkestone 2001.

I just wanted to say that when i worked as a Supported Housing Officer in London Borough of Kensington Graham was one of my clients, he was living in group home for people with mental health issues and drug and alcohol problems in Delgarno Road, I'd been told by another member of staff that Graham had been in a band but it wasnt until i met him and worked with him that i knew who he was, he was such a nice bloke, he would spend hours in his room smoking away, the house rules were no smoking,…

The Bryan Ferry Essay Enigma

Posted by Ice Johnson on June 7, 2012 at 7:06 0 Comments

Okay, so I tried doing research for my essay on Bryan Ferry's "Rock of Ages." I spent the whole day yesterday trying to find resources before I start writing the essay but the long and hard internet search and hours and hours of browsing books in the university library did not pay off as well as anticipated.

At the end of the day, it gradually became apparent that the "Rock of Ages" essay is far from being possible. I mean, the essay can still be written and its still possible for me…
