A random thought came to me--- why not have a thought for the day column on here. Post any old thought at all-- could be Roxy/Bryan related, music related, nonsense related-- just anything at all. From my point of view the sillier the better, and if you can throw in a quote or two or a song mention to discuss more power to your elbow so to speak.

Tiget Tiger, burning bright
tell us why your driving's shite
did you crash the car and hit that tree?
Did you smash your ribs and how's the knee?
What happened when you got behind the wheel?
Did the Mrs go mad and cop a feel?
Or were you blinded by the Florida sun?
Did a fart get trapped somewhere near the bum?
" No I put the radio on, heard the news
that made me ache, gave me the blues
No more Roxy, except on stage
It made me mad, it made me rage.
The next I knew I'd hit that tree
I was trapped in the car, can't break free
face full of airbag, pains in my ass
the wife had to come and break the glass.
Tiger Tiger what a mess
Bryan's solo album will have guests
Red Hot Chilli's and Run DMC
A Bit from Eno amd the Great PT
Tiger raves, begins to shout
" I don't care I wanted Roxy Out,
It was on Phil's website, some tracks were good
It was all just rubbish- puts me in a mood."
" Now I've knackered that hedge, ruined the garden
I'll have to beg the neighbours Pardon
A dangerous driver i've been branded
Got no car and now i'm stranded!"

I see from the news page on roxyrama.com that BF has agreed to auction off a piece of Avalon memorabilia by way of a discarded Cover print which was taken for the album. Hopefully it will raise money for the appeal. The comment goes on to mention the association the album has with Haiti in so far as Yannick Ettiene of course comes from there. Does anyone know if she was in Haiti at the time and whether she has been caught up in such a terrible tragedy? It woulod be good to know that she is ok.
Whilst on the topic of haiti I suspect that most of you will have made your own contribution to the disaster. I have friends who work for a charity and one of their specific areas of care is a small school outside Port Au Prince which has been devastated by the quake. A Major donation has been received to rebuild the school which is now derelict. However the grounds of the school are now home to over 2,000 homeless people who have no food, shelter, water, hope etc and who are absolutely desperate. Water is a real priority. This email is a request to do so if you have not made a donation and to offer a simple immediate way of doing so, text the word HELP to 88008 donates approximately £1.
This will cost you £1.50 plus the cost of text. There is a carrier charge but so be it, we do know they are an ethical company who make their own contribution to good causes.
Contributing more cost effectively is also easy. Online donations can be made via www.glasgowthecaringcity.com, then following the special Good Samaritan School link. Cheque’s can be made payable to Glasgow the Caring City and sent to Unit 12 Linn Park Ind Estate. Glasgow G45 9SS.
I know that money is tight in the current economic climate but as I understand it these people have been left with absolutely nothing. Please put off buying a cd, or a pair of socks, a bar of chocolate or something today and instead give something. It will slip from the news in a few days and at that time the public thought process moves on. yet rubble will still be getting cleared and bodies discovered for months to come. It will take years to re-establish homes, roads, shops, hospitals and all infrastructure.
So if you can give something that would be great.
I know this is not my normal sort of mundane, nonsensical post and if you have stuck with it this far can i just say thanks for taking the time to read it.
