The Bryan Ferry and Roxy Music Social Network - roxyrama.org

Gang

In the vein of 'Now Playing', I thought it might be fun to start a thread of all the gigs we go to from now until Roxy Music tour in support of the new album.

I'll kick off and will provide reviews and stuff as we go

Tonight I will be bopping and jiving to David Byrne (Talking Heads) at the Colston Hall in Bristol. After that I will be at my mate's CD launch party for his band The Bird Architects.

And looking forward - Glastonbury and then Steely Dan on the 1st July in London.

Saw the GREAT Leonard Cohen last night at the Liverpool Echo Arena.

It was a brilliant, brilliant show. Three hours of superb, masterful music...which had me in tears during parts of the show. Leonard had a standing ovation when he came on at the start and several more throughout the show.

Leonard and his band have been on the road now for most of the time duing the last 15 months. At 74 I don't how he's managed to keep up such a punishing schedule.

Setlist for any lurking Lenny fans:

'Dance Me To The End Of Love' / 'The Future' / Ain't No Cure For Love' / 'Bird On A Wire' / 'Everybody Knows' / 'In My Secret Life' / 'Who By Fire' / 'Heart With No Companion' / 'Waiting For The Miracle' / 'Anthem' / 'Tower Of Song' / 'Suzanne' / 'Sisters Of Mercy' / 'Partisan' / 'Boogey Street' / 'Hallelujah' / 'I'm Your Man' / 'Take This Waltz'

Encores - 'So Long Marianne' / 'First We Take Manhattan' / 'Famous Blue Raincoat' / If It Be Your Will' / 'Closing Time' / 'I Tried To Leave You'
