The Bryan Ferry and Roxy Music Social Network - roxyrama.org

I assume the setlists for this years shows will stay much the same as the last 9 years!

But last time Pyjamarama & Prairie Rose were included.

Which 3 songs would you like to see added to this years set list?

Mine would be:

Just Like You

Nightingale

Beauty Queen

Paddy,

Thank God for that-- I was starting to think I was bound for the wee rubber walled room and dinner through a tube!!!!!

I am not one for keeping set lists but knew I had heard it somewhere. I was at the KoKo gig so will have heard it there-- though part of me thinks I have also heard it somewhere else. Did Bryan through it in somewhere on the Dylanesque tour? Or was it played at the Excel concert for the Motor Show?

On a separate note I hope you are well--- still sporting the red jacket? With no Bryan or Leneord concerts to go to have you been a recluse in the house or just down the Bingo???????

Don't think Bryan did Prairie Rose during the Dylanesque tour at all. He did very little Roxy stuff on that tour. In fact I remember as I was walking out of Symphony Hall, Brum on that tour a couple saying they didn't think he was very good as he hadn't sung Dance Away, Avalon, Virginia Plain etc. I suppose they might have played PR at Excel...I don't remember.

I very well thanks, the red jacket's in store waiting for a chance to be worn again. Won't be wearing it at Lovebox...it might (and probably will) rain there. Did you know Lenny's touring Europe again this September? He doesn't seem to be coming to the UK though...it's France and places east.

Bingo...you've discovered my secret Jim! Love going down the Mecca Bingo, 10 books on the go at once....BINGO!!

Hi Paddy

I was at the SH show too. VERY dissapointed he didn't do Just Like You that evening as he'd had it in the set list the night before.

>>he didn't do Just Like You that evening

You should have been at St David's Hall, Cardiff the weekend after Symphony Hall...he sang Just Like You there.

I went to that one with with my sister. It was a great show and was recorded for the radio. I spent the whole time down the front by the stage, leaving my sister 7 or 8 rows back looking after the bags!

It was a great surprise to hear it in Glasgow--- I think it has some of Ferry's greatest lyrics-----.

Paddy-- when will you grow out of doing the down the front thingy??? Lol---

I'd follow you but I'm not sure they have an OAP section at the front or an area for the mentally and physically infirm. Can you bring your own St John's Ambulanceman/woman?

Got to be- Beauty Queen! A great song! not been done since 74? End of the line! Never been done live! Always liked it! Spin me round! Lovely song! To me the avalon on the manifesto album! Would be great if Bryan & Co could maybe do 1. Mind you, you have got more chance of getting knocked down by Steptoe & Son!!!! W.

Amazona is a real fave. I think we should let PM know, after all it's his shining solo that would please.
Serenade, the great Roxy single that should have been?
