Well spotted Helen, surely with the free CD at the weekend, lauch of new web site and John O'Brien launching his sight, there MUST be something coming soon! Perhaps everbody else has got there act together and Ferry is late delivering. Again.

the link to Amazon showed the book 'Roxy ,the band that invented an era'.Which I've just ordered.!
The blurb stated the first account,ect,ect...but actually I have the 1976 book 'the Bryan Ferry Story' .Rex Balfour...which is a vivid account of the rise of Roxy, with some lucious photo's ..including early teenage Bryan at art college, with his car, his sisters and shots of most of the Roxy cover girls.

My bible -studied most nights!

Hi Sharon,

Yeah I have the Rex Balfour book, and love the early pictures of Bryan, especially the one where he is stood next to his sister in his little shorts!!! haha Aww Bless....cute little thing wasn't he? isn't he?

I also noticed a few photos on the new site that I hadn't seen before, which are nice, a bit of eye candy for the ladies, to set the pulse a-racin!!!

Cool drink time now, and maybe highlights of the Tennis to go with it which i missed today....I don't know how Lleyton Hewitt went on, hope he won, i know Murray did......Its just not the same without NADAL!!!! :(

I have just had a look at the new Bryan site to see what was on there and lo and behold do we find a few interesting things of note:

First Bryan seems to have been performing at the double club in July --- I missed any mention of that.

Second and more importantly--- have a read at the comments attributed to the band members on the sleeve of the recent freebie given away by the Mail On Sunday on 28th June of this year!!!!!!!!

Are these comments meant to be contemporaneous with the freebie? If so check out Andy's comments re while my heart is still beating!!!!! Are these comments and this freebie meant to have been a teaser or an advert? I can't believe the band members would have been asked for comments on a sleeve note and asked for no editorial control so they must know the likely impact of such comments!!!!
