What? Eh? September?
Well I for one am not chuffed!!!! I have been in this here tent, camped outside HMV in Sauchiehall Street since just after Christmas!!! We were told early in the new year!!! March at the latest!!!!!! I have been freezing my nuts off, missing Eastenders and the one show because it was imminent!!!!! Does he know that it has been snowing? And that I have been here with the 800 Pot noodles I got for Christmas to keep me going? September is miles away? I was planning on buying the album, uping sticks and then pitching the tent at all these summer festival thingy's.
Well sod it i'm off-- i am not staying here for a number of months-- Think I will go and live abroad for a while-- be a non dom--- that 's the only way to get some influence over matters these days--- have yourself declared a resident and citizen of somewhere else and then do your best to become part of the government for somewhere else entirely!!!!
Think I'll declare unilatreal independence for Dumbarton or somewhere like that-- make it a scottsih tax haven--- set up our own banking system-- oops forgot someone did that and really F----ed it up before.

I'll give him slippage. Do you know how many times I have now sung Cumbiya with the Christian fundamentalists who are camped outside Top Shop? Or listened to the guy with the two string guitar and the four fingers on his left hand do his dreadful rendition of "blowing in the wind" in Waterston's doorway---- no matter what the weather?
Mind you to be fair every cloud has it's silver lining-- as I can now speak fluent romanian thanks to the 4 women that sell the big issue nearby-- although I do feel a bit guilty as I told them that " away and boil your head " was an ancient Scottish Greeting which brought great honour and joy to the recipient of such a blessing.
" Big Issue sir?"
" No Thnaks."
"Thankyou-- Away and boil your head!"
No wonder sales are down and minor assaults on big issue sellers are on the up!!!!
Anyway so this is an album of original material? With contributions from everyone ever heard of--- from the three wise men to the Scissor Sisters and Lord Lucan. Presumably he is another Non Dom.
Well I suppose we will have to wait till September. If the record label are hailing it as a September release then I suppose there can be little room for further procrastination-- mind you this is Bryan!!!!!!
I wonder if this could be his swansong? His last studio album? The last time he will put pen to paper, draw in the musicians and fiddle around in the studio?
For all the rubbish I write on here----- that is a kinda sad thought?

Mixed thoughts on the album. As Jim said 'could this be his swansong?' I have believed it will be for sometime now. An album full of originals, which did surprise me - I thought there would need to be covers as fillers. It does seem (as suspected) that material originally earmarked for the Roxy album will be on it, e.g. the Scissor Sisters co-writes. So the final nail in the coffin of the Roxy album and Bryan's last album of originals. Maybe the odd album of covers, but that's it.

A right good knees up at some festival or other--- mud or no mud!!!!!
White shoes and Tux on folks, dig out the army suits, get out yer Siren's gals, squeeze into the oul Goucho Outfit--- does anyone remember the really fat guard in the old black and white episodes of Zorro?--- well you might be seeing the likes of him this summer ha ha.
To hell with the begrudgers-- If this is Ferry's last throw of the song dice, and it is potentially the last set of gigs we get to go to with the original line up--- then we should get up and get out there with all might and muster.
yes it might be a bunch of oul 60 year olds--- and that might be the audience--- but who gives a tosser.

We're you the guy in the lemon coloured trousers? With the red baseball shoes, stripey tank top and matching beanie hat? If so I have a bone to pick with you--- when you threw the 50p you missed my hat and it bouncd off the pavement and hit me square in the eye!!!!!!!!
5 hours.------- yep 5 hours in the eye infirmary--- where after several eye tests, 2 urine samples and one most uncomfortable and unexpected type of examination, I was declared to be the most drunk person the nurse from Nigeria had ever seen!!!!!
Clearly she has never been out much.
Notwithstanding all of that, now we have Roxy concerts at the same time as a Ferry Album----- it's a bit like wearing odd shoes is it not?

You forgot ma (Elton John)dark glasses ! Aboot yer eye mate , sorry , though I could lend you my EJ dark glasses to hide any scars ;)) I had that nurse once too , she said I was the single most rude specimen she had ever seen ! Then I produced the actual specimen and threw it on her wee hat ! Ah well , nearly tea-time.......

WOT a DRAMA QUEEN !!!!!...and I luv it !!!! OF COURSE it's September ,Bryan is a LIBRA, Sept is the month of LIBRA, it's the month of good fortune, creativity ,a return of major planets to the point of our birth...if you are a LIBRAN , only a chosen few are ,of course...it was nice of Lockie to throw a few coins your way for a cuppa of meths ..sorry- tea was'nt it ? and Glen ,so loyal ..both will be rewarded by the universe....planetpmc....PMA, PMA (pos,mental ,att), of course you won't be !..oh dear some-one is calling me, time for my medication ,apparently.!!??
