BF Online?
Does anyone know what has happened to Bryan Ferry Online? After a day of it being down it now says "Sorry, this website is now closed".

It's a pity that none of the members were forewarned about B-F.com's demise; at least the reigns could have been offered to the next in command. ;-)
To be honest, I'm disappointed at what has happened, I'll miss it ...... already do.
ps, I never got a chance to save all my PMs. Oh well, my loss!

I never thought to check if June was still a member here but if she has left here too then perhaps there is a personal reason that she had to end things suddenly.
Yesterday the forum was still there but had been "disabled". I have no idea how these things operate but it is a shame to go down like that.
There are other things in life besides Roxy/Ferry forums so we can only hope that other things are okay with the webmaster and she & her family are well.

Wow, I noticed this too. Have been trying to get on a couple of days now. I'd assumed it was just down for maintenance, but now it says it's closed. I really enjoyed it and can't imagine it would just shut down without warning.
MOP, if you're out there, let us know what's going on. PLEASE!

Yes I too am disappointed that BFonline has been closed. When I tried last night and couldn't get in I thought, like Dee, that it was just down for maintence. Then Siobhan sent me a text while I was at work to say it was closed. And to go so suddenly, I hope everything's OK with MOP.
It's such a shame, each forum has it's own personality and I did enjoy BFonline. Made friends with people there and met up with a few of them.

I have only just noticed this discussion and it's content. While i was not a contributor to BF online I know that others logged on regularly and enjoyed it. I don't know what is involved in maintaining a forum, or a website for that matter, but clearly the sites demise and June's departure from these pages are linked. My first thought is to hope that she and hers are all well and ok.

It tends to be the case that although there may be a big list of members it comes down to a smaller number who post on a regular basis so there will be quite a lot of people who will be shocked to find the board has closed.
Whatever the reason I hope June is well and should she happen look in here or anyone on this forum has contact with her please pass on that the board will be missed and thanks to her for all her work in the past.

I am soooo gutted about the site. I hope everything is ok with June.very odd to suddenly go down like that with no warning. all those posts and stories gone. it was a really good laugh that site..abit more relaxed and usually more input and had different qualities.I have to say ive gone on it every day for about 3 years now.
Im in talks with someone that can set up a similar forum, but getting all the members back to it may be a problem. I cant let it die! :) i live for the gossip column!haha.
But June, if you are reading this I hope everything is ok! thats the main worry.
